Gentlemen,
Welcome to the 86th year of the Twilight golf league. Now that football is over it's time to start getting ready for the upcoming golf season. While many things in our league remain the same including the participation fee, there are a few items I would like to bring to your attention:
One rule change that has been addressed deals with how long to wait for your opponent. The rule still had remnants from before we had assigned tee times. The updated rule will note that players have a 20-minute grace period past their tee time. During the 20-minute grace period please search to find a sub if you have not heard from your opponent. If no alternate is available and 20 minutes elapses, the match is considered a forfeit.
In an effort to enhance communication between players (setting up tee times, running late, etc.) we will be providing the password for the league contact information. I recommend adding league member contact information to your phone (especially for your flight).
Another improvement this year will be player photos. We have a lot of new players, especially alternates, so we will be adding a photo of each player on the website. This will make it easier to find your opponent on the putting green or in the clubhouse. More to come on this topic at the kickoff meeting.
In an effort to increase participation at the Mid-Season Classic we are going to take a vote during sign-up. Please only vote if you are interested in playing. If you don't plan on playing please don't vote.
Lastly, Hooky Day will revert back to the traditional only Monday vs. Tuesday Champion team competition. No additional Monday vs. Tuesday teams (runner up, MVPs, etc).

A few key dates for the season are as follows:
- March 2 – Registration Due
- March 18 7:00 PM – League Kickoff Meeting at MP Clubhouse
- April 6/7 – Open play (Shake off the rust)
- April 13/14 – League play begins
- September 9 – Hooky Day & Banquet
